Art Star Craft Bazaar

We are so excited to be apart of the Spring Art Craft Bazaar for the 2nd time this year! It's always such an amazing event with tons of vendors, food, and of course right by the River! Come out and have some fun on Mother's Day weekend.

The Art Star Craft Bazaar is an award winning retail art/craft show that is organized and juried by Art Star, Philadelphia’s leading purveyors of quality handmade goods. This upcoming show will mark the 15th year of Art Star’s Flagship Spring Art Star Craft Bazaar, which has been named Best of Philly by Philadelphia Magazine in 2010 + 2012. The show has become a beloved shopping tradition for Philadelphians and attracts over 15k visitors annually. In addition, Art Star has a brick and mortar shop in Northern Liberties which sells curated handmade goods year round!

The ASCB will be back on Mother’s Day Weekend at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, along the Delaware River. Shop for Mom on Saturday and bring her along on Sunday for a fun family day at the Bazaar.

Megan Brewster and Erin Waxman of Art Star have curated a line-up of over 100 quality art + craft vendors from the region and beyond. Each vendor will be set up in a 10×10 foot space throughout the Great Plaza and will extend along Walnut Plaza by the Seaport Museum. Vendors will be selling a variety of handmade goods and gifts for all ages. The show will feature a good balance of returning Art Star favorites and also over 40 vendors that are fresh and new to the show. Shoppers can expect affordable and quality handmade goods such as pottery, jewelry, home goods, bath + body products, stationery, clothing, lighting, furniture, baby goods, pet accessories, bags, prints, fine art and more!

The event will also include live music by local bands playing throughout the day – full line-up TBA. There will be a handful of Make + Take stations where DIY lovers of all ages can come and make something to take home with them for a small fee. Screen print a t-shirt with Little Chair, try out Jessica Joy London’s Glass Knitting Technique and make a colorful sun catcher, create a mosaic tile to hang or use as a coaster with Black Hound Clay Studio, and check in with Next Fab for a fun project TBA. Local food will be provided by Poi Dog, Sum Pig, and Kung Fu Hoagies, among the Great Plaza’s usual festival fare plus two full cash bars. Make sure to visit Cut and Paste Photobooth and snag a pic with your friends and family for $5.

Come early for your chance to snag a free tote bag with some small promotional items. We will be giving away 150 per day. Also visit the Art Star info booth to enter our free raffle!
